TheCommon.org will send you a confirmation email with your password.

Go to www.TheCommon.org and sign in with your email address and password.

            Hint: best to copy and paste your temporary password when logging in the first time.

Click on Encounter Community Church as your “community”.

 

To Change Your Password:

·       Click on “Account Settings” in the top right corner of the page.

·       Enter your password into the password & password confirmation boxes.

·       Click “Okay I’m Done” in the bottom left.


To Add Abilities or Offer a Good: (Things you’re willing to help with, add as many as you want!)

·       Click on the “Projects Tab”.

·       Click on the green “Things I can help with” bar.

·       Click on “Add another Ability” at the top of the green section.

·       Choose your ability/good area from the list.

·       Click “Take me back to my dashboard” and check out the needs in that area.


To Add Needs: (Things you’d like help with)

·       Click on the “Projects Tab”.

·       Click on the blue “Things I need help with” bar.

·       Click on “Add Ability” at the top of the blue section.

·       Fill in the questions listed and click on “Continue, Pick a Category”

·       If your need falls under a certain category, click the category and proceed.

·       If your need doesn’t match a category, click “General Help”.


To Help With a Need

·       Look at the needs on your “Projects Tab” (main screen) and find a need to help with.

·       Click on “More Info” to find out more about the need

·       To help, click on “Join the Project” and begin communicating with those involved.
